Born and raised in Brentwood, Matt began attending Brentwood Baptist when he was a third grader. He later went to Emory University and graduated with honors in 2011, earning a Bachelor in Business Administration degree.

After graduation, he moved to Atlanta and worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Deloitte & Touche. In 2012, God called him out and he left his job. He headed to the mission field in Cape Town, South Africa to work with Living Way, the job creation branch of Living Hope.

There he helps coordinate, add, and modify curriculum in the agricultural academy. He also teaches students about business principles and strategies, analyzes and makes recommendations for the financial performance of the academy, and is learning how to manage the business platform.

Pray for…
• Effectiveness in his work and ministry there.
• Discernment about the path he should following moving forward with Living Way.
• Faith to carry out whatever God asks him to do.

Born and raised in Franklin, Matt has grown up as a member of Brentwood Baptist nearly his whole life. His father, Dennis Worley, is someone you may know. He's our Music & Worship Minister.

After high school, Matt attended college at a few different schools. Most recently, he went to Mississippi State University, focusing on Horticultural and Agricultural studies. But during that time, he struggled to find a calling and passion.

During a school break in the summer of 2012, he went and volunteered for a month with Living Way in Cape Town. After returning to school, Matt knew he belonged on the mission field. After months of prayer and guidance, he left school and answered God's call to serve long-term with Living Way.

Matt goes to work Living Hope, assisting with facilities within the ministry.

Pray for…

• Growth and improvement in God's word and teachings.
• The business field he serves in.

• Faith and commitment to The Lord's plan for him.

• Impact in the community around him and in the organization.

• Faith and strength in the important relationships with loved ones back home.

Originally from Massachusetts, Paige graduated from Villanova University (B.S. Math) and Vanderbilt University (masters in education).

In 2009, she moved to Nashville to complete her degree and began teaching as a high school math teacher. She quickly became involved at Brentwood Baptist, volunteering in the Preschool Ministry and actively involved in a LIFE Group on Sundays.

In October 2011, Paige went on a short-term mission journey to Cape Town, South Africa. After her time there, she knew God was calling her back, so she returned during the summer of 2012 for six weeks to work with the children of Masiphumelele.

Since then, the Lord has called her into long-term missions and she accepted a position with Living Hope. Paige is working in the tutoring program to improve the pass rate of the children in the townships on their maths exams, giving the students a brighter future.

Pray for…
• Engagement to Scott Drennan.
• Smooth transitions.
• Next steps of faith.

Scott has been a member of Brentwood Baptist since 1988. He graduated from Auburn University with a marketing degree in 2005 then moved to St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands where he first taught at a small Baptist elementary school and worked on a sail boat, then later managed an Eco-Resort for five years.

In the summer of 2012, he moved home and began flipping houses, attempting to acclimate back into the States. He also started serving at Brentwood Baptist within the Student Ministry and Kairos OnCampus, as well as Young Life.

This past winter, Scott felt like God was calling him to go—confirmed through a long-standing relationship with John and Avril Thomas, founders of Living Hope in Cape Town. He'll leave this fall to serve for three years with their ministry, helping to develop their newly acquired 19 acres to further ministry efforts.

Pray for…
• Engagement to Paige Stillwell as they serve together for the next three years.
• Development of the new Living Way property.
• Discerning leadership and management.

• Positive support and encouragement for Living Hope through abilities.

In January 2014, Taylor and Jenai will begin their journey at King of Kings Baptist Church, where they'll work with Pastor John Thomas to lead the Children's Ministry. They'll also occasionally provide discipleship training for Living Hope as well as some area churches.

• Leadership as children's ministers at King of Kings.
