After two days of serving alongside Of One Accord Ministry in Rogersville, Tennessee, the Medical Dental Unit Team saw a total of 63 patients—of which 53 received medical screenings, 10 received fluoride treatments, and 145 teeth were pulled on 50 dental patients.

But most importantly? Nine people decided to give their lives to Jesus Christ!

Amy Fairchild, MDU Coordinator, said, "At lunch one day, a girl walked up and asked, 'Are you guys with the dental unit outside? Where are you going now? How can I get dental work?' We told her we wouldn't be back until next year, but to talk to Of One Accord. The dental need is so great. I continue to be overwhelmed at how many people need teeth pulled. Everyone keeps asking when we're coming back."

One patient had battled tooth pain for over two years. One day, as she talked to a co-worker about it, another lady overheard and told her about arrival of the MDU in her area. Her prayer was answered as Dr. Locke, an MDU team member, pulled her tooth, relieving the pain.

Their last patient was a young girl with pain in her wisdom teeth. She'd already made an appointment to get them removed, but didn't have the $600 it would cost to perform the procedure. When the team offered to remove them at no charge, she cried with joy.

"What a blessing the MDU and its team was to the people of East Tennessee," Amy said. "Thank you for all the prayers! God is good."
