Let's go for a walk. We all know that walking is good for our mind, body, and soul. The walk you are taking today is no different. Like physical walking, walking through the Bible will help transform your life and energize you with confidence in your knowledge of God's Word.
As a result of walking daily in God's Word, you will see the Scriptures from Genesis to Revelation in a new light and be able to understand how they all fit together. You will experience firsthand how practical God's Word is as you find the answers to the perplexing problems you face each day. You will learn from the great men and women of faith how to express your innermost thoughts to God...how to handle disappointments and heartaches...how to express joy and praise...and how to draw on the unlimited power of God moment by moment. You will personally experience the life-changing power of the Word of God.
The guide you are reading is a map for your daily walk. We will walk together so that we can share in the joy of the journey. We are traveling a well-marked path with the daily walk clearly outlined in this guide. Don't run too far ahead or lag far behind. Do your best to stay with the group and remember that we are taking this walk together. If you get tired, ask a friend to encourage you and keep putting one foot in front of the other. You'll be glad you did. Now, grab your Bible and let's get walking. Enjoy the journey!
