Kairos News Kairos Worship Leader, Michael Boggs, wins Dove Award

At the 41st Annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards, Kairos Worship Leader, Michael Boggs, walked home with the award for Country Song of the Year.
Boggs penned the song, “Somebody Like Me,” with fellow songwriter and Brentwood Baptist Church member Neil Thrasher. It was then recorded by Jason Crabb on his 2009 self-titled solo project.
In 2006, Michael stepped into the role of worship leader at Kairos, offering a more modern worship sound to the Tuesday night service. The mid-week worship experience attracts more than 1,200 young adults each Tuesday night and more than 150 on Thursdays.
