BackThe Call: Adult Leaders for Student Ministry
Four Statements from Students… why we need a leader like you
“Thank you for always being there for us, in the good and hard times.”
“It’s cool to have adults around who care about me and about what’s going on.”
“They see potential in me that I don’t always see in myself.”
“They’ve really given me support and encouragement and to live for Christ.”
Myths about being a Student Ministry Leader…
They don’t need me.
I don’t have anything to offer.
I don’t know all the answers about the Bible.
I’m not young and single.
I’m not wild, crazy, or funny!
I don’t have enough time to be involved.
I never have taught a lesson or worked with teenagers before.
I don’t think students will like me.
