Men
“As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another.”
— Proverbs 27:17
Culture has blurred our image of the modern-day man. Demands and
expectations regarding career, family, and life in general can be difficult to
sort through. Yet God still desires men of integrity, humility, and consistent
obedience. He’s looking for leaders in the home, the workplace, and
the church who will draw their strength solely from Him and build His
kingdom.
Get plugged in to any number of bible studies, LifeGroups,
events, and programs specifically for men. As iron sharpens iron, you’ll find
strength in a community of guys who are dedicated to becoming more like
Christ.

Men In Training
Thursdays at 6:45 AM, Hudson Hall (September 2– December 16)
Paul the Apostle mentored a younger man named Timothy, writing him letters to help him become a godly man and a spiritual leader. Men, come join us as we study and discuss Paul's First and Second letters to Timothy and reflect on some of the life lessons we can learn from these instructions. We will consider such topics as experiencing God's grace, pursuing spiritual leadership, practicing spiritual disciplines, fighting the spiritual battle, living with godly confidence, and passing on a spiritual legacy. What a great opportunity to grow in your walk with Christ and make some new friends! Registration not required and open to all men, each week.
For further information about these or other men's small group opportunities, please contact Roger Severino, phone 615.324.6132.

Church is a place where men should feel welcome. And most definitely a place
where they can be transparent and honest about the challenges of being a man, a
husband and a father. Unfortunately, most men don’t feel comfortable
at church, and most men won’t be transparent at the risk of appearing
vulnerable, weak or inadequate. That’s why we’re starting a
4-week gathering called Man Church. It’s not a worship service or a
new men’s ministry. It’s just a gathering of men, of all
ages.
Just bring your Bible, and join us for this four-week journey together. We
need each other.
