Someone to Talk to
Hopeline — (615) 324-6297
Overwhelmed? Need a listening ear? Need to talk with someone who cares? Galatians 6:2 says "Bear one another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ," and Psalm 39:7 says "But now, Lord, what do I look for? My hope is in you." The Hopeline is a 24/7 phone line staffed by caring Brentwood Baptist members who would love to listen, pray for you, and offer words of encouragement and hope. This is a volunteer ministry by our members and is not professional counseling. All information will be kept confidential by the volunteers and ministry staff.
Sunday Mornings after Worship
Every Sunday morning, at the conclusion of the worship services, there are church members and ministers available to talk with you about such things as coming to know Christ as your Savior, joining the church, being baptized, etc. Please feel free to remain in the worship center at the end of the two services and speak to one of our ministers.
Minister on Call — (615) 324-6242
Each week, one of the BBC ministers carries a pager to be used for emergencies. If you are experiencing a death in the family, automobile accident, or other types of emergencies, and need to speak with the Minister on Call, please call (615) 324-6242 and leave a detailed message. Please use discretion when calling the pager at night as this should only be for emergencies that cannot wait until daytime.
Pastoral Counseling
The Congregational Care Minister is available during the church's normal business hours for short-term pastoral counseling and referrals to Christian counselors. There is no charge for these sessions, but they must be limited to only a few meetings, and we ask that you make an appointment with our Congregational Care office at 324.6164
