What is JourneyOn@Home?
A strategy to encourage our homes into being a place where the principles and character of God are modeled by those with influence. Our goal is to put handles on guiding principles that bring the church and home strategy down from a concept realm to a practical one. It’s taking life “as you go” with intent, and allowing what you do and say to leave a Christ-like imprint or impression on your family that has staying power.
Wherever you are as a family is a good place to start.
5 Paths of Influence
These are the primary values or goals that every home of every type can rally around and embrace—biblical values that create an undercurrent of movement in one’s family that has purpose and intent. These are paths that a family can walk down regularly and at many stages of life:
1. Make memories to build strong relationships.
2. Create conversations that lead to commitment.
3. Instill truth to build a firm foundation.
4. Affirm the value of each person to confirm worth.
5. Bless and empower family members at key moments to encourage godliness.
