Our members have currently given $87,053.69 to Haiti relief efforts! Thank you for your generosity and compassion for the hurting people of Haiti.
Brentwood Baptist has partnered with two ministries in order to provide relief and show the love of Christ in the coming days to those in Haiti who are hurting and in need: 1) Sweet Sleep, a ministry founded by Brentwood Baptist member Jen Gash, and Hope for the World Missions Offering partner, that provides beds for orphaned and abandoned children, and 2) Baptist Global Response, a Southern Baptist relief and development organization.
BELOW ARE SEVERAL WAYS YOU CAN HELP:
- Continue to pray for Haiti and the victims of the quake. Then, join us to pray at our Missions Prayer Time on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. in
Room 1150.
- Pray for the Alavares'—a Haitian family who are members in our church. Brentwood Baptist assisted Hudson's family, who are from Nashville but were visiting family in Haiti at the time of the quake, in securing transportation from their country to Nashville (via the Dominican Republic and Miami).
- Donate funds to Haiti relief. You can still give to the victims of this tragedy—of which 100% of your donation will go directly to aid them. You can give through one of two ways:
- Make your check payable to "Brentwood Baptist" with "Haiti" on the memo line and drop it off at the church office.
