Care and Discipleship Pastor
Jason Swain is the Care and Discipleship Pastor here at Station Hill. He graduated from Vanderbilt in 95 and received his MA from Talbot School of Theology in 08. Previously, he served as a Care Pastor at ChangePoint Church in Anchorage, AK (08-09), Student Pastor at Fellowship Bible in Brentwood (03-06), and Williamson County Young Life Area Director (96-03).
This small town country boy met the love of his life, a SoCal beach girl, at a summer camp during their college days. Lindsay and Jason have been married 11 years and have 5 children: Jacson (9), Summar (with Jesus), Ellie (6), Savannah (4), and Brennyn (1).
I am passionate about seeing people find grace and true freedom in the midst of the struggle that is life. We have been broken on the wheels of living. Life is hard, yet our hope in God sustains us. We know only a little...but what we do know calls us forth towards a journey that is beautiful, adventurous, and true. The "grace in which we stand" is RADICAL if we truly believe it!"
In his spare time, Jason enjoys the "Swain Family Dance a Thon," family fun days, hiking (esp. in the Alaskan mountains), biking, camping, college basketball, and date nights with Lindsay.
