Campus and Teaching Pastor
Jay Strother is the Campus and Teaching Pastor of The Church at Station Hill. He previously served the Brentwood campus as the Emerging Generations Minister (2006-2009) overseeing the spiritual formation process for families and all ministries birth through college. Prior to that, Jay was the student minister at Brentwood Baptist (2001-2005), Shiloh Baptist (AL) and Wisetown Baptist (IL). He also served with Crosspoint Sports Camps (Lifeway) as a teaching pastor/coach in inner-city Baltimore.
He's been passionate about preaching/teaching, the next generation of the church, and working to connect church and home since he was 19 years old. Jay is a graduate of Greenville (IL) College and New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. He's a contributing author to Perspectives on Family Ministry (B&H, 2009) and an author of several small group resources for Serendipity House.
My favorite stories come from the adventures of life with my wife Tanya, our three lively girls Eliza, Lexi and Ella and our son from Nepal, Liam. I enjoy good books, strong coffee, college basketball and St. Louis Cardinals baseball.
