Music and Worship Pastor
I have to begin by telling you about my family. I am in love with my beautiful wife, Mollie, and we have two wonderful children: Hannah and Nathan. I love being known as Mollie's husband, and Hannah and Nathan's daddy. They all bring me such joy and make my home a place I want to be.
My family and friends know me as a gadget man. I love computers, online gaming with friends, remote control hobbies, home theater setups, and just about any new techie toy on the market. I enjoy playing basketball, volleyball, and cheering on the Tennessee Volunteers, a near requirement for being raised in East Tennessee.
Music has always been a constant in my life. It led me to an Undergraduate Degree in Music Education - Vocal/General from Tennessee Tech then on to Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary for a Master of Divinity with Church Music.
Previous ministry experiences include Minister of Youth at Wallace Memorial Baptist Church in Knoxville, TN, Minister of Music at Central Baptist Church of Crossville, TN, Music and Media Associate at North Richland Hills Baptist Church in North Richland Hills, TX, Worship Leader for several children's camps across TN and TX, and in August of 2005, began serving Brentwood Baptist Church as Music and Worship Associate Minister.
No matter what my role has been, God has shown me time and time again what an incredible tool and gift music is for carrying the praises of His people. My passion for ministry is leading people to discover what God made them to do; and worship is just that, it's what we were made to do!
