Who are LifeGroups for?

LifeGroups are for everyone. We believe that everyone needs significant relationships to be healthy. That's why we want to be a church OF small groups, not just a church with small groups.

Why do I need to be a part of a LifeGroup?

We believe that it is not good for us to walk alone. We need each other. LifeGroups exist to provide safe environments which foster meaningful relationships and spiritual formation. (Acts 2:42-47, Hebrews 10:24-25, Romans 8:29).

We believe that sustained life change takes place best in the context of intentional relationships.

We agree with John Ortberg when he writes:

"I have never known anyone . . . who was isolated, lonely, unconnected, had no deep relationships - yet had a meaningful and joy-filled life."

What are LifeGroups like at Station Hill?

Our small group ministry is intentionally named LifeGroups. This name literally communicates that we journey through life with one another (where we live, work, and play). But the name also has a much deeper meaning. It symbolizes our desires as we "do life" together:

Learning . . .
to be more like Jesus as we grow together with the Scriptures as our guide.

Investing . . .
in each others' lives as we share our stories and struggles, care for one another, and pray for one another. It is a place to tell your story, listen to others' stories, and discover how God has connected those stories to His.

Fellowshipping . . .
eating, laughing, crying, and playing together.

Engaging . . .
We stand in the way of holy huddles. We desire to be a missional community that goes in service on the behalf of the Kingdom.
