Mission and Vision
Our vision is to partner with parents to see a generation emerge from our church family who knows their identity and purpose in God's plan to share the freedom, hope and love of Jesus in our community, nation and world.
Our mission is to serve as a connector between church and home by providing biblically based, relationally focused and age appropriate teaching to our children and by equipping parents as the primary faith trainers in the home.
You may hear us use some keywords when we talk about families at Station Hill. To help you, here are a few of these words and what we mean . . .
Connector: A connector allows two different things to work together. As a children's ministry we serve as a connector between the faith training that happens at church and home.
Biblically Based: The Bible is our textbook for both the classroom and for life.
Relationally Focused: Because God is relational in His very nature and because He created us as relational beings, we believe that children learn best in a small group setting.
Age Appropriate: While the same biblical text is used for all elementary age children, teaching methods will be targeted at specific ages and developmental stages of children.
Equippers: The church will provide encouragement, education, support, and tools to allow parents to fulfill their God-given role as faith trainers in the home.
